Expand Your Vinyl Collection Around Long Island | Coach Realtors

Record Store Day may not be as eventful as Christmas or Halloween, but it's when music fans of all shapes and sizes can celebrate their love of vinyl. Taking place on April 20th this year, it's a time when you should take a look at some of the record stores near our long list of amazing Nassau County homes for sale and Suffolk County homes for sale.

Some of our REALTORS® fancy themselves vinyl aficionados who have their thumb on the pulse of record stores in the area. We're going to prove that by diving into a few of their favorites spanning Suffolk and Nassau counties.

  • Deep End of the Sandbox — 650 Portion Road, Ronkonkoma, NY 11779
Today, we'll start our list by introducing you to a place where nostalgia rules supreme. At Deep End of the Sandbox, you'll find tons of vintage items, including a respectable vinyl collection. While you're there, you can also shop through their wide assortment of vintage toys, home decor items, video games, collectibles, and so much more. Just one visit, and you'll see why this has been a favorite of locals since it opened a decade ago.

  • Infinity Records — 510 Park Blvd., Massapequa Park, NY 11762
Now, we move to the nitty-gritty with Infinity Records. You can't go wrong with this awesome shop. Their motto is "where the vinyl never ends," and they truly make that a reality. You'll find all types of music, from rock and metal to punk and jazz—and everything in between. And if you just happen to have any vinyl records you'd like to sell, they'll pay a competitive price. Stop in when you get a chance. We guarantee you won't be disappointed.

  • Vinyl Bay 777 — 101-14 Dupont St., Plainview, NY, 11803
Vinyl Bay 777 bills itself as your music outlet. One visit and you might absolutely agree. Their staff loves to connect with existing and potential customers, which is why you'll find they're very active on Facebook and other social media outlets. They have tons of vinyl and are always getting new selections in stock. It's also a great place to pick up a few favorite CDs and more. If you don't see what you're searching for, just ask!

  • Innersleeve Records — 199 Main St., Amagansett, NY 11930
    Innersleeve Records
prides itself on its wide array of vinyl, but it's the music knowledge that people often remember just a bit more. The store is home to more than 100,000 unique records, which is probably why this single business can ship thousands of vinyls every single week. Their staff is huge, and their knowledge of music is even "huger." They also maintain a continuing blog that provides plenty of music knowledge and might help you discover a few new bands or musicians.

  • Needle + Groove Records — 73 Atlantic Ave., Lynbrook, NY 11563
Needle + Groove Records has only been around for six years, but they've already gotten their claws into the vinyl community. Perhaps that's because their employees are dedicated to a vast knowledge of music of all types. This smaller record store is well-organized, and the vibe is relaxed and cool. They specialize in ultra-rare records, so if you're looking for something out of the ordinary, you should take a look.

These are only a few of the incredible vinyl locations that you can visit on National Record Store Day in April. Don't forget to contact us today to find your dream home in the Long Island area.
