There are plenty of great St. Patrick's Day events around Long Island on the 17th and throughout the week. But if you've just moved here, you might not know where to find them. Fortunately, our REALTORS® have you covered. Here are a few can't-miss events on and around St. Patrick's Day, where you can join us to embrace the luck of the Irish.

  • St. Patrick's Day Storytime - 338 Main St., Huntington, NY 11743
    If you have young children, head to the Huntington Public Library for St. Patrick's Day Storytime. Starting at 10 a.m. March 12th, this event near Huntington homes for sale features storytellers spinning Irish yarns for toddlers and preschoolers. Then, head to the arts and crafts table, where the kids will make a St. Patrick's Day lucky charm. It's a fun, wholesome way for your family to kick off the festivities.

  • Allen Gogarty and the Amadans NYC St. Patrick's Day Celebration - 1 Library Drive, Port Washington, NY 11050
    If you love Irish music, you need to see Allen Gogarty and the Amadans NYC. Performing Friday, March 14th at 6:30 p.m. at the Port Washington Public Library near Port Washington homes for sale, it's an evening of songs and revelry from some of the most talented names in Irish music. The event is free, but register online in advance to secure your seat.

  • Huntington Shamrock Stroll Bar Crawl - 70 Gerard St., Huntington, NY 11743
    The Huntington Shamrock Stroll Bar Crawl takes place Saturday the 15th, so you can party Irish-style without worrying about work the next morning. Beginning at 4 p.m. at the Rust & Gold, you'll check in and get a wristband that gives you access to a variety of local bars in the area, serving up green beer, Irish cocktails, food, live music, and more.

  • Wantagh St. Patrick's Day Parade Block Party - 3264 Railroad Ave., Wantagh, NY 11793
    If you want to get to know your community, parades and block parties are great ways to do it. So the Wantagh St. Patrick's Day Parade Block Party is an event not to be missed. Starting Sunday, March 16th at 2 p.m., the party includes Railroad Avenue, Brooklyn Avenue, and Grove Street and features live music, a variety of food trucks and restaurants, and plenty of drinks. There's also a Metrocade Video Game Truck and a special Kids' Grove area. Mingle with friends and neighbors and see local clubs, businesses, and other organizations come together to celebrate the luck of the Irish.

  • St. Patrick's Day Luncheon - 77 Bay St., Sag Harbor, NY 11963
    Want a St. Patrick's celebration that's for a good cause? The St. Patrick's Day Luncheon at Cormaria Retreat Center is a delicious Irish family dinner whose proceeds go to benefit the center's mission to foster community and spiritual renewal. Held March 17th from 1–3 p.m., tickets are $40 and must be booked in advance. 

  • Rockville Centre St. Patrick's Day Parade - 197 N. Long Beach Road, Rockville Centre, NY 11570
    An annual tradition near Rockville Centre homes for sale since 1997, this year the Rockville Centre St. Patrick's Day Parade takes place Saturday, March 22nd. Beginning at noon, local organizations in colorful floats will spread Irish cheer, raising money for a variety of Irish charities. The event will feature music, food, and more.
